Description

So I'm packing up my house to move, and I come across some of the coolest stuff.

I'll try to explain what you're looking at:
01. My original Hydralisk head... That's right, this is what we modelled him from. (Note I never gave him a lower jaw)
(OH, and FYI, i truthfully had no idea what a Warhammer 40K was when i started designing the zerg. I was more a comic geek... and still am. after the game hit E3 i was told that i stole the idea of aliens that fight space marines from warhammer... wow)
02. Original broodling head. Later i went with a more birdlike look.
03. Original Devourer sketch. he's my little Zerg ladybug.
04. The FIRST ever Mutalisk design. Eventually I designed what's below in color, but it's nice to see where it came from.
05-07. Ladybug, Mutalisk, Mutalisk render to sell the idea to Sammy and the uppers. Hydralisk Den. Gas sucker (My favorite building. I modelled and designed in one night starting at midnight while my wife read The Invisible Man next to me.) (one LONG night). The original Nydus Canal. The "Mutation Chamber" (No idea what it did) (BUT it's where starcraft's crystals come from!!! REALLY, I just made the building and we liked the crystals and history was madeded.) The building left but the crystals remained.
08-12. The evolution of the things you collect as told by my art, what was the artist what made them. We had these energon cubes at one point, then the gas and the crystals came at the 11th hour...

I made many more things. I pretty much modelled and animated the Zerg stuff. one or two escaped me, but that was my job. Zerg overmind art guru.

I'll post my suck Terran stuff one day... but not until after the move...
